The Kelsey is honored to be the recipient of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Impact Award, recognizing a collaboration between Bay Area-based nonprofits, activists, funders, and volunteers that uniquely advances a community solution through shared vision and resources with an equity lens. The Kelsey Civic Center was recognized both for the impact of the project and the ways the community has come together as a collaboration of nonprofits, city leadership, community members, designers, and funders.
This recognition is shared with, Mercy Housing California is the co-developer of The Kelsey Civic Center and the project team including Cahill Construction, Santos Prescott and Associates, WRNS, the Mayor’s Office on Housing and Community Development, the SF Department of Aging and Adult Services, the SF Office of the Environment, the Community Advisory Group, and our funding partners.
