Caroline Bas is The Kelsey’s Chief Operating Officer. Caroline oversees The Kelsey’s finance and operations as well as leads on project timelines for The Kelsey’s housing developments nationwide – supervising site selection, community engagement, and construction of The Kelsey’s universally-designed, multifamily housing.
Caroline has over fifteen years of business leadership experience across the non-profit, corporate, startup, and philanthropic sectors. As a Bay Area native, she saw her mother with disabilities experience a series of evictions and witnessed first-hand how housing insecurity has become widespread across the region. To help counter this, she founded an urbanist neighborhood association in San Francisco and joined The Kelsey in 2019.
Caroline has a BA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from UC Berkeley. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young children.
