The Kelsey is thrilled to announce we will be a part of the 2022 Cohort of the Housing Lab at the Terner Center. A competitive incubator for housing ventures focused on making housing more affordable and equitable.
Founded in 2019, The Housing Lab exists with the goal of improving the housing market by making it more affordable and fair. The Kelsey is in good company with this year’s cohort which includes five other ventures, Frolic Communities, The Guild. Parity, Pronto Housing and Module.
As part of this year’s cohort for the Housing Lab, The Kelsey will receive $75,000 of seed funding and six months of mentorship and technical support to help make housing more affordable and eliminate systemic economic and racial barriers to housing equity. As an organization that works to provide accessible, affordable housing for people with and without disabilities, The Kelsey is honored to be selected as part of this year’s cohort and to be given funding and resources to further our mission of pioneering disability-forward housing solutions that open doors to homes and opportunities for everyone.
