The Kelsey Civic Center: Community Update

Residents are continuing to move into The Kelsey Civic Center in San Francisco! We’ve been hosting welcome events and Inclusion Hours, where we’re enjoying meeting our newest neighbors and learning about their journeys to this community. As everyone settles into their new homes, our Inclusion Concierge team continues to provide ongoing support, from housing assistance to meaningful community connections.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there: The San Francisco Disability Cultural Center (DCC) is officially open! The DCC is the first public disability cultural center in the country, and we’re proud to host its hybrid space at The Kelsey Civic Center. We’re excited for residents and community members to experience the DCC’s dynamic programming – from yoga sessions to meaningful discussions, there’s something for everyone.

The DCC celebrated with a virtual ribbon cutting yesterday, and opening events, including a tour of the space and a drag show, will continue all weekend long! Click here to register for these and future events at the Disability Cultural Center.

We’re proud of how this community continues to grow. Take a look at the new, beautiful photos we have of The Kelsey Civic Center below!
