Questions

What part of The Kelsey’s mission are you proudest to be part of / support?

I’m proud to support the idea of being radically inclusive, and the commitment to actively and intentionally creating environments where every individual, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances, is welcomed, valued, and empowered to participate fully.

What does it mean to you to be Disability-Forward? Why does it matter?

Being disability-forward means prioritizing the inclusion, accessibility, and rights of people with disabilities in all aspects of society. It involves proactive steps to ensure that environments, policies, practices, and services are designed and implemented in ways that consider and accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities. This is important for myriad reasons, especially equity, fairness, and quality of life. Everyone should be able to fully participate in society, have equal access to opportunities and resources, and live with dignity regardless of personal ability.
