Eric Mondragon

As a self-described “includer,” Eric approaches every situation as an opportunity to accept, share, connect and learn with others. He applies this thinking to the projects he leads and supports, across The Kelsey, on housing, advocacy, and services to highlight the organization’s strengths and promise.

Eric joined The Kelsey from WRNS Studio where he worked with The Kelsey on The Kelsey Civic Center, prior to its selection and win of the c40 Cities Reinventing Cities competition, in partnership with the City of San Franciso’s Department of the Environment.

As a lifelong volunteer, Eric spends his free time supporting others. From visiting those with chronic illness at MD Anderson Cancer Center to teaching families experiencing homelessness at Hamilton Families. He currently volunteers with Project Openhand and Senior and Disability Action by providing food to homebound seniors and people with disabilities.

Eric received his BA in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and his MS in Communication from Purdue University.

Inclusion at its core is about others. We can all benefit from being less selfish.
