Micaela Receives the 2026 Harvard Kennedy Alumni Innovation Award

Micaela, a white woman with long, wavy, brown hair, wearing a cream-colored jacket, a blue button-down shirt, and a statement necklace, sits and talks. She is gesturing with her hand and has a microphone clipped to her shirt. Behind her, a blue backdrop with Harvard Kennedy School’s logo patterned on it is visible.

We’re proud to announce that our CEO and Co-Founder, Micaela, received the Alumni Innovation Award from the Harvard Kennedy School. The award is given to alumni who have identified a problem and an innovative solution that has a positive social impact. Micaela’s leadership in this work has been critical to advancing a disability-forward housing future.

Speaking on a panel alongside her fellow alumni honorees, Micaela highlighted how our dual approach scales disability-forward housing nationwide. By building intentional, supportive communities on the ground while simultaneously transforming the broader systems around them, we create lasting change. We’re honored to receive this recognition from the Harvard Kennedy School. Congratulations, Micaela!
