We’re proud to announce that we were awarded a grant from Coefficient Giving! This award will support us in expanding our impact in disability-forward building code and land use reform. As part of our ongoing work in this space, we invite you to read our recent Washington Post opinion article. The piece highlights a critical barrier: while many cities are updating zoning rules to allow more multifamily housing, a lack of elevators in these new buildings remains a significant barrier to accessibility. Starting with elevator reform, and with more initiatives to follow, we look forward to defining and supporting new code and land use strategies to make housing more abundant and accessible.
