About the Event
Join SV@Home and Morena Strategies, East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation, Unity Council, Chinatown CDC, and The Kelsey for a lively discussion and call to action around how we can do truly inclusive development that meaningfully achieves the goals and principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Liberation (DEIL) frameworks. We will hear from skilled practitioners and thought leaders on cutting-edge approaches to doing development in low-income and other underserved communities to intentionally strengthen communities of color while building community resources and opportunities. We will learn about how integrated approaches to community design and development can create spaces where people of all incomes, backgrounds, and abilities can live, work, and play.
Our goal is that all participants will leave this discussion having learned more about how different approaches to development can be used to meaningfully invest in underserved communities and advance the DEIL principles that so many organizations are seeking to adopt and implement. We hope to see you there!
