In 2025, we saw what becomes possible when disability-forward housing moves from vision to reality.
Across our communities, neighbors moved into homes designed for access, affordability, and belonging. Residents shared their stories—showing the power of disability-forward communities in action. Advocates and partners called for what is still needed, and came together to defend disability-forward housing policies and programs. Field leaders convened to share new ideas and build towards an inclusive future. Designers were supported to center access and inclusion, and funders stepped up to invest in housing that is affordable, accessible, and inclusive.
